Power supply, electric power industry

This section combines training benches for performing laboratory and practical classes in the disciplines “Power supply of industrial enterprises”, “Relay protection and automation”, “Energy saving technologies”, “Cable and wire products and couplings”.
Digital instruments are used for doing measurements. At this equipment can be studied in details modern methods and means of resource and energy saving: the efficiency of using frequency converters, reactive power compensation, the effect of semiconductor converters on the power factor, the energy efficiency of various lighting sources, etc.
