NTC-13.09.1 “Cutaway model of worm gear”

The present model is dedicated for visual demonstration and studying constructure, operating principles of general nodes of worm gear.

Structurally, the stand is represented as a real acting gear installed at aluminum frame with soft supports. This training laboratory equipment gives opportunity to follow up in operating mode the worm gear and on practice find the differences at applied moments at input and output shafts via applying to flywheels the forces hand implemented.

This model provides visual demonstration and provides visual access to the nodes located inside the housing elements of the gearbox.

The stand gives opportunity to study the following components of the worm gear:

• worm pair;
• bearing units;
• adjustment elements;
• body construction.
