The training laboratory system allows to familiarize students with rate measurements of corrode of steel samples in different conditions by the method of polarization resistance.

The training laboratory equipment is used for testing the coating corrosion resistance and the effect of inhibitors according to the corrosion rate.

The training laboratory equipment is designed in a desktop version and includes:

  • a corrosion meter;
  • a set of dishes (glass beakers on a special stand and accessories);
  • a set of reagents for preparing solutions and conducting experiments.

The corrosimeter is equipped with primary converters (sensors) with replaceable electrodes. A set of replaceable electrodes is included as well.

The laboratory stand is supplied with:

  • a software;
  • a set of methodical and technical documentation for academic staff.

Experiments provided

  1. Determinate corrosion rate of carbon steel.
  2. Inhibitors impact on corrosion rate. Corrosion coating resistance.
