Structurally, the stand consists from a laboratory unit and two PC with a set of peripherals.

The laboratory unit consists of a body and a front panel.

At the front panel of the unit are placed:

passive equipment: CWDM multiplexers/demultiplexers, WDM splitters at 1310/1550 nm, CWDM Add/Drop modules at 1530/1550 and 1510/1570 nm, optical circulators 1550Tx/1550Rx and planar dividers 1×4;
active equipment: media converters;
ODF;
sockets RJ45.

To receive and transmit data, the stand is connected to a PC using UTP 5e patch cords to RJ45 sockets on the sides of the stand.

The training system is supplied with technical and methodical documentation for teaching staff.
