The training system allows to determinate the torque transmitted by the safety clutch depending on its settings.

The torque on the clutch is created by a powder brake with electromagnetic control and is measured by a strain gauge force sensor. Rotation of the leading coupling half is provided by a gear motor.

3 types of safety clutches are studied:

jaw;
ball-type;
friction.

The training system includes integrated measuring system, control unit and load unit. All the units are installed on the rigid basement.

The training system is accompanied with:

a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff;
a software.
