The training laboratory stand is designed to study ventilation system elements, methods to regulate and monitor parameters in ventilation systems, to determine hydraulic resistance of ventilation system elements.
The stand is designed as a ventilation systems installation.
System components are installed on the profile aluminum rack (mobile mounting platform).
On the mobile platform is installed the main equipment:
- rotary blower;
- tacho generator;
- valve system and air ducts of different configuration and materials;
- microprocessor-based measuring system.
Air ducts are designed as circular 100 mm diameter and rectangular cross-section pipes made of PVC, circular transported 100mm diameter pipe mounted on the front side of the mounting frame.
The measuring system allows to register static and dynamic pressure in metering sections, rotation speed of the fan, impellers, voltage, current, active power of fan electric motor.
To measure static and dynamic pressure are used differential pressure transducers. Pressure sensors are connected
to air ducts via system of tubes. Microprocessor -based control and measuring system has a modular design combining autonomous units.
The Microprocessor-based system includes the following units:
- inlet unit;
- power supply unit;
- pressure measurement and tachogenerator unit;
- power measuring unit;
- pressure measuring unit.
The laboratory stand is accompanied by a set of guides and technical documentation for the teaching personnel.
