The training laboratory equipment is designed to study the operating principle of power electronics of an electric vehicle, light signaling and the processes of converting electrical energy into mechanical energy at higher, secondary specialized and vocational establishments.

Structurally, the training laboratory equipment consists of a body, on which are mounted the front panel and the table top of the integrated desktop. The stand is made in a floor-standing, monoblock design.

The body of the stand has a part of electrical equipment:

  • power supply;
  • electronic circuit card.

The front panel accommodates the following elements:

  • structural diagram of an electric vehicle combined with LED indicators;
  • power electronics unit (inverter);
  • high-voltage battery unit;
  • electric powertrain consisting of a synchronous electric motor and a DC motor;
  • electric vehicle dashboard.

The stand gives opportunity for studying the operation of the inverter by measuring signals from power switches. To do this, it is provided to connect the oscilloscope to the switching jacks located on the front panel.

The training system is accompanied by a set of guides and technical documentation for the teaching personnel.

  1.  Studying signaling lights of an electric vehicle.
  2. Studying electrical to mechanical energy transformation processes in an electric vehicle.
  3. Studying operating sequence of an electric vehicle powertrain.
