The experimental unit is designed for investigation of thermal conductivity of patterns made of different materials. The patterns are performed as circle-shaped plates with diameter 100mm and thickness 3—7 mm.

The experimental unit is assembled on the basis of welded metal frame. A movable steel cylindrical clamp with a recess is installed at the top of it. A thermal conductivity sensor and a temperature sensor are installed in the center of the recess. A stationary steel body is installed in the lower part of the unit. A heater, a heat accumulator and a temperature sensor are installed in the center of the body. Wires from the sensors and from the heater are collected in a single cable connected to the control and measuring system of the stand.
