NTC-17.55.17 “Study of Current Leakage into the Ground”

Br0.00

The training laboratory stand allows:

  • Simulating three types of grounding electrodes – horizontal tubular, lying on the surface of the ground, vertical tubular, and a hemisphere immersed in the ground.
  • Modeling several types of soil.

This set of studies aims to examine the distribution of electric potential over the ground surface and analyze hazardous phenomena related to grounding of electrical equipment and networks. The research explores the characteristics of voltage occurrence and propagation under various conditions, as well as the measurement of touch voltage at different distances from the grounding electrode. These studies help to understand how to ensure safety for people and equipment protection in case of electrical failures and emergency situations.
