The training laboratory stand is designed to learn about safety measures commonly employed in Three-Phase AC networks and tools. The stand simulates conditions happening when a person comes into contact with the phase wires of a three-phase electrical network up to 1 kV with an insulated and solidly grounded neutral, both during normal network operation and in fault modes (i.e. when one phase is short-circuited to ground).

The stand is designed as a desktop panel device.

On the front panel of the stand, the following components are installed:

Voltmeter.
Ammeter.
Short-circuit resistance switch.
Capacitance switch for wires relative to ground.
Insulation resistance switch for wires.
Floor resistance switch.
Footwear resistance switch.
Ground resistance switch.
“Fault” mode toggle switch.
Earthing system type selection switch.

On the back side of the stand, the following components are installed:

Network cable output.
Network switch.
Fuse.

The stand comes with a set of methodological and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
