Structurally, the stand consists of a body in which are installed electrical equipment, electronic cards and units, a front panel and a worktop of an integrated desktop.
At the body of the stand are placed:
- units of load resistors, capacitors and inductances that serve as a load for studying the electricity meters;
- current and voltage transformers;
- switchboard instrument;
- card USB-HUB.
The front panel of the stand shows the electrical circuits of the objects under study and installed:
- two multi-tariff metering devices for active and reactive electrical energy of three-phase alternating current;
- metering device for active and reactive electrical energy of single-phase alternating current;
- Data Acquisition and Transmission Devices;
- Combined radio-modem;
- USB-interface for connecting the PC to smart meter, Data Acquisition and Transmission Devices and switchboard microprocessor wattmeter/varmeter;
- LAN-interface for connecting the PC to DATD (Data Acquisition and Transmission Devices);
- Connection sockets.
The stand is accompanied with:
- a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff;
- software.

- Three-phase AC active and reactive power measurement with a panel wattmeter / varmeter.
- Measuring the active electrical energy of three-phase alternating current with direct connection of electricity meters.
- Measuring the active and reactive electrical energy of three-phase alternating current with direct connection of electricity meters.
- Measuring active and reactive electric energy of three-phase alternating current at switching on electricity meters via measuring current and voltage transformers.
- Studying the DATD (Data Acquisition and Transmission Devices) with data transferring via RS-485.
- Investigation DATD with data transmission via supply line.
- DATD studying with data transmission via radio channel.
- DATD studying with combined data transmission.
