The training laboratory stand is dedicated for using it as a training equipment at secondary specialized colleges and higher education establishments to perform laboratory works.

Structurally, the stand is consists of a housing with a mounted front panel and a tabletop integrated desktop.

At the panel are mounted:

  • circuit breaker;
  • module of metal conductors (samples);
  • controls and indications;
  • measurement system indicators.

The metal conductor module includes the following conductors:

  • copper, section 10 mm2;
  • aluminum, section 10 mm2;
  • steel, section 10 mm2;
  • steel, section 50 mm2;
  • steel, section 100 mm2.

The stand is accompanied with:

  • a set of methodical and technical documentation for teaching stuff.
  • software.

Experiments provided

  1. Studying the time characteristics of heating depending on the type of conductor.
  2. Studying the time characteristics of the conductor heating depending on the strength of the flowing current.
  3. Studying the time characteristics of conductor heating depending on the cross-sectional area.
