At the panel unit are placed:
- digital indicators of measured current via sample from semiconducting material, magnetic field induction in the gap of the solenoid magnetic circuit, sample temperature and induced Hall e.m.f.,
- regulators and switches of current polarity through the sample and magnetic field induction,
- heater switch,
- temperature regulator.
On the rear wall of the control unit there is a power cord, a fuse, a USB socket for connecting the measurement system to a PC.
A sample board is placed in the solenoid gap, where are placed a semiconductor sample, a heater, a temperature sensor, and a magnetic field induction sensor (normalized analog Hall sensor with temperature compensation).
The magnetic field induction, the current in the sample and the temperature of the sample are stabilized at a given level. For induction of a magnetic field and current through the sample, it is possible to quickly change direction while maintaining the modulus.
The training laboratory equipment is accompanied with:
- a set of methodical and technical documentation for teaching stuff;
- software for visual displaying the measured results of the parameters under study on the PC screen in real time and saving the measurement results for their further analysis.
