The training laboratory system is designed to determinate the inertia moment of symmetric parts by the frequency of free torsional vibrations of the body, suspended on the elastic yarn.
Structurally, the stand consists of a laboratory unit and a control unit.
The stand is a steel base with a vertical rod. On the upper part of the rod there is a mechanism for the excitation and registration of torsional vibrations. Two cam clamps are used to secure the replacement rods. There is a thread on the bottom clamp to secure the replacement sample.
To count the oscillation time, an electronic stopwatch is used, which is integrated in the control unit.
