NTC-13.09.23 “Friction Variator”

The stand is a display panel consisting of a frame made from aluminum profile with a composite panel attached to it. The panel features full-color, wear-resistant printing. The display shows models of five types of variators and a real sample of a planetary friction variator.

The stand allows to study the design and operating principles of the following variators:

• Flat (face) friction variator
• Toroidal variator
• V-belt variator with adjustable conical pulleys
• Double-cone variator
• Multi-disc friction variator
• Planetary friction variator

The panel also includes a system of symbolic designations for the key parameters of each type.

On the back side of the panel, at the top of the profile, there are two hangers for mounting. The hangers are inserted into grooves and secured with screws, allowing the distance between them to be adjusted.
