The training laboratory bench NTC-13.06.5 “Cylindrical samples fatigue test” is designed to identify endurance limit of materials subjected to breaking strength.
The construction of the bench consists of a testing facility and a control unit.
The testing facility includes: drive motor, clamping mechanism, vibration sensor. The testing facility allows installation and tension of cylindrical samples and provides anti-start engine protection when cover is opened.
The control unit includes: frequency converter for controlling engine speed, drive motor relay-contactor control system, measuring system, circuit breaker, PC connection unit. Controllers and measurement system indicators are located on the front panel.
The front panel is divided into the next functional units:
Input unit – is designed to supply mains to the bench, it has phase indicator and provides bench protection against overload and short circuit.
Measurement system unit (vibrometer).
The motor control unit includes: buttons to start/stop the motor, controllers for rough and smooth the adjustment of the converter output frequency. The control unit provides anti-start engine protection when cover is opened, and stops engine if the cover is opened during operation.
