The laboratory stand allows to determine coordinates of centre of gravity of bodies with constant thickness and different configuration.

The laboratory stand is designed for carrying out laboratory works in technical mechanics for machine-building specialities at secondary educational institutions.

Structurally, the stand is made in the form of a precast base, on which the vertical stand is rigidly fixed. On top of the rack there is a head, on which a flat figure is suspended, alternately with different points close to the edge, and a plumb with a load on the end. Using a plumb line, a vertical line is drawn from the point of suspension.

The laboratory stand is supplied with a set of methodical and technical documentation for academic staff.
