NTC-30.01 “Features of asynchronous motors”

Constructively, the stand consists of a light-dynamic panel displaying asynchronous electric motors with squirrel-cage and phase rotors, along with their main parameters and characteristics.

It features two operating modes: “Training” and “Control.”

On the control panel located at the bottom of the stand, one of the modes can be selected.

When the “Control” mode is chosen, the correctness of answers is indicated using corresponding LED indicators: “Correct” and “Incorrect.”

The stand is designed for studying:

• The structure of an asynchronous electric motor with a squirrel-cage rotor;
• The structure of an asynchronous electric motor with a phase rotor;
• The principle of operation of asynchronous electric motors;
• The main parameters of asynchronous electric motors;
• Operating modes of asynchronous electric motors;
• Regulation characteristics of asynchronous electric motors.
