The laboratory stand is designed for educational purposes in institutions of higher, secondary vocational, and technical education for conducting laboratory and practical classes on the study of the electric car’s construction.

*The electric car brand is determined with the customer (BMW i3, Nissan, and others).

The stand consists of two parts:

  • electric car;
  • fault injection block.

Functional cutouts are made on the front and rear left doors, hood, front bumper, roof, right door, and motor compartment of the electric car.

The fault injection block is a relay block. Fault assignment is done via Wi-Fi network from any gadget on a web page.

It allows for the simulation of 20 faults in the electric equipment system of the electric car.

Fault diagnosis is performed by connecting an auto scanner to the car’s diagnostic connector, followed by decoding the fault codes obtained using special software.

The laboratory stand comes with a set of teaching and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.

Experiments provided

  1. Study of the electric car’s device.
  2. Introduction of faults into the electric equipment system and their diagnosis using an auto scanner.
