The level regulator is designed to study PID controller and the variants of its using in industry during the construction of automated control systems.The investigated object is the model of technological reservoir.
The model of technological unit, PLC, flap regulator and control are located on the front panel.
Simulation of setpoint control of liquid level is carried out by the analogue with operating principle of discrete conductor level sensor, simulation of current liquid level with analogue floating sensor. Both sensors are connected to PID-regulator. The measurement of technological reservoir state displays, using LED indication. The control of investigated object is carried out both in automatic and manual modes. The regulation of flow capacity of inlet manifold is carried out by flap regulator / simulator. The regulation of flow capacity of inlet manifold is carried out by the way of speed rotation changing of supply pump and flap simulator.
The indicators of technological reservoir state is displayed on PLC, which controls the operation of level regulator. There are the variants of faults input in the investigated object and setting of perturbation action. The level regulator is connected to PC, using USB interface.
