NTC-19.03 “Pipeline transport and gas storage”

The training laboratory equipment is designed for using it as a training equipment at secondary specialized colleges and higher education establishments to perform laboratory works for studying the gas moving modes in gas pipelines of different kind of complexity, configuration and various characteristics as part of a gas cooling system. This set of investigations includes analysis of gas flow regimes and thermal conditions in pipelines, as well as determining their hydraulic characteristics and efficiency. It covers various operation schemes, including parallel and series connections of pipelines, along with methods for increasing capacity through looping. Additionally, assessments are made of jumper effectiveness and the optimization of combined operation between cooling systems and main gas pipelines.
