The training laboratory system is designed to conduct laboratory experiments on the study and analysis of steady-state modes and processes that occur in electrical AC networks with a freely changeable configuration and parameters of its elements, as well as their operating modes.

The front panel features:
  • circuit breaker;
  • digital screens for displaying the currents, voltages and powers of transformers values;
  • diagrams of objects under study;
  • digital screens for displaying the voltage, current, power, charging current values and voltage drop in the line according to the selected measuring point;
  • USB port for PC connection;
  • measurement point number setter;
  • transformation coefficient adjustment range switches for transformers T1 and T2.

To conduct the experiment work, it is necessary to assemble a circuit of the object under study in accordance with the methodological recommendations with toggle switches.

Laboratory experiment can be carried out using special software in PC-dialogue mode. In this case, it is possible to simultaneously display the measured values at all the points of the static electric network model circuit.

The training system is supplied with:

  • a set of methodological and technical documentation for teaching staff.
  • software.

  3. The study of methods for determining the loss of electricity in electrical networks.

  6. The study of closed-loop power networks.
  7. Voltage regulation using transformers.
  8. Study of the influence of equalizing EMF on the closed-circuit network with two rated voltages.
  9. Study of measures to reduce power losses in the electric network.
  10. Study of the modes of the electric network with compensating devices.
  11. Study of economical operation modes of transformers at substation.
