The educational laboratory stand is intended for use as training equipment in higher education institutions, secondary specialized schools, and vocational-technical colleges during laboratory and practical lessons on the investigation and implementation of remote control systems, automatic monitoring and metering of electrical energy. It also involves studying the operational modes of power transmission lines, protective devices, and synchronization processes of generators to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of electrical networks.

Structurally the stand consists of two units.

Each unit consists of:

  • housing in which are installed electrical equipment, electronic cards, front panel;
  • an electric machine unit containing two electric machines: an asynchronous electric motor with a squirrel-cage rotor of the series and a synchronous generator based on the engine. The machine unit is equipped with an optical speed sensor.

Performing laboratory work is possible both in manual mode and in dialogue mode with a personal computer.

The stand is accompanied with:

  • a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff;
  • software.
