The laboratory stand is designed for carrying out laboratory works in physics. It allows to determinate coefficient of viscosity of air experimentally with usage of the capillary tube method.
Constructively the stand consists of the experimental unit and control and measurement system.
The experimental unit is assembled on the basis of welded metallic basement. A cylindrical tank with a cut in its top part is installed on the foundation. There are connecting pipes and differential pressure sensors in the unit.
On the metallic basement a compressor with flow control is installed as well. Electrical wires from the sensors and compressor power supply are gathered in one cable, which is connected to control and measurement block.
Control and measurement system allows to measure two pressure differences simultaneously for determination of air flow and coefficient of viscosity.
The stand is accompanied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
