The training laboratory equipment is dedicated for studying the IP telephony server.

Structurally the training laboratory equipment consists of a body with mounted an integrated work table top, racks, patch panels (RJ-45 and RJ-12) and socket blocks.
At the racks are mounted the studied equipment:
  • routers;
  • VoIP gateway;
  • IP phones;
  • Wi-Fi router;
  • radiotelephones;
  • Wi-Fi phone.

The training laboratory equipment is supplied with: 

  • a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff;
  • software telephone (softphone) for providing the VoIP-calls.

  1. Introduction to the basics of IP telephony technology. 
  2. Communication settings. Astersk as SIP-server.
  3. Setting the IP-telephone. 
  4. Setting VoIP-gateway. 
  5. Creating an IP telephony network. 
  6. Setting the quality service (Quality of Service).
