The training laboratory system provides the possibility to demonstrate various systems of air purification from gaseous impurities and to study methods used for air quality assessment.

Structurally the training laboratory equipment consists of a body where are mounted a front panel and an integrated work table top.

The front panel contains the following equipment:

  • air purification units (water absorber, silica gel adsorber, carbon adsorber);
  • piping system for air pumping;
  • circulation fan;
  • mixing chamber for air sampling and injection of impurities;
  • equipment control panel.

At the bottom part of the stand there are placed elements of the system for supplying water to the absorber:

  • storage tank with water;
  • supply pump;
  • manual pump for pumping water from the tank into the supply pump.

The training system is completed with an aspirator and a set of indicator tubes for measuring concentrations of gasoline, acetone, ammonia, acetic acid in the air.

The laboratory stand is supplied with methodical and technical documentation set intended for academic staff.

Experiments provided

  1. Study of the unit and equipment for air quality control.
  2. Study of efficiency of air purification methods.
