The training laboratory system is designed for using as educational equipment at universities and secondary educational institutions for laboratory and practical courses.

The training laboratory system provides visualization in studying the structure and functioning of the fire alarm and automatic firefighting systems.

The front panel of the stand contains the following objects under study:
  • heat fire-alarm box (3 pcs.);
  • manual fire-alarm box (1 pc.);
  • smoke fire-alarm box (2 pcs.);
  • combined fire-alarm box (1 pc.);
  • open flame fire-alarm box (1 pc.);
  • security fire-alarm box (1 pc.);
  • control and indicating device (1 pc.);
  • access device (1 pc.);
  • transparency (2 pcs.);
  • light-audible fire-alarm box (1 pc.).

Alarm sensors can be triggered by direct exposure (smoke, temperature, radiation) or by toggle switches on the panel. The installed equipment allows studying individual fire alarm devices and fire alarm systems in different situations: regular operation, fire alert, faults, alarm reset, etc.

It is possible to reprogram and monitor the operation of control and indicating device through USB interface. 

The training system is supplied with: 

  • set of methodical and technical documents for teaching staff.
  • firmware for control and indicating device.

Experiments provided

  1. The study of zero-address fire alarm system.
  2. The study of various types of fire alarm boxes.
  3. The study fire alarm system operation. The signals indicating condition of fire alarm system.
  4. The study of structure of control and indicating device A6. The connection of additional modules and devices, the expansion of possibilities. The ways of control and information exchange.
  5. Programming and adjusting the parameters of control and indicating device A6.
  6. Access devices. Light and sound devices for alert and fire alarm systems.
  7. Basic structure of security systems. Difference between security and fire alarm systems.

Additional module “Occupational health and safety. Firefighting” makes possible to carry out the following laboratory works:

  1. Investigation of the sprinkler automatic firefighting system.
  2. Investigation of the deluge automatic firefighting system.
