The stand is designed as a single unit, with control elements, indicator lights of measuring instruments, and a diagram illustrating the principle of operation of the residual current device (RCD) located on the front panel.
The electrical research circuit includes:
- The tested RCD.
- Circuit for studying the path of current flow through the human body.
- Digital measuring instruments (ammeter I, mA, timer t,s).
- Footwear resistance switch R_footwear (adjustable in the range [0..100] kΩ).
- Floor resistance switch R_floor (adjustable in the range [0..500] kΩ).
- Body resistance switch R_body (adjustable in the range [500..1000] Ω).
- Switch for selecting the type of tested RCD.
Inside the stand enclosure, the following components are installed:
- +12 V power supply unit (current 0.5 A) for powering digital instruments.
- Digital measuring instrument board.
Control elements include:
- Footwear resistance switch.
- Floor resistance switch.
- Body resistance switch.
- RCD type selector switch.
- Touch button “Touch”.
- RCD.
The stand is accompanied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
