The training laboratory stand is intended to study measuring methods of electromagnetic radiation flow density of microwave range, protection methods against radiation during operation with devices having microwave generators.

The stand accommodates the microwave oven, the optical bench. On the optical bench is placed a rack with device for measuring heat flow density and a mounting unit for installation of replaceable protective screens.

As a source of microwave radiation is used household microwave oven.

The stand enables three degrees of free sensor travelling (X-Y-Z- travel). It makes possible to study the radiation from the front panel of MV oven (the most intensive radiation place) and on the whole area of coordinate mesh.

As a weighload for MV oven is used fireclay brick on the fixed plate that provides stability of the measuring signal.

Installation units for replaceable protective screens allow to move them along the whole coordinate mesh, providing rapid mounting and screen replacement. Replaceable protective screens have unique standard size. The screens are produced from different materials: metal mesh, metal sheet and polycarbonate.

The stand accommodates by a set of guides and technical documentation for the teaching personnel.
