Module 1 is intended for use as educational equipment during laboratory and practical classes on the investigation of relay protection and automation devices in power supply systems. It involves researching and analyzing protection systems for power transmission lines and electrical circuits. The module covers automatic protection systems. It also includes measuring AC voltage and current parameters through direct load connection, as well as determining total power, active, and reactive energy using appropriate instruments and electricity meters. These studies aim to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and safety of power grids and equipment.
Module 2 is designed for use as educational equipment during laboratory and practical classes on assessing power quality in electrical supply systems. It involves determining the static power characteristics of various load types. Full-scale modeling of steady-state operation modes of single-phase transformers, power transmission lines, and electrical networks with single-sided and double-sided feeding is performed to analyze their behavior under real conditions. Methods of voltage regulation are studied, along with techniques for reducing energy losses in radial distribution networks through longitudinal and transverse capacitive compensation. The influence of transmission line parameters on energy losses in distribution networks is also analyzed. These studies are aimed at optimizing power transmission modes and improving the efficiency of electrical grid systems.
