The training laboratory system is used to conduct the experimental verification of momentum conservation law, determine the momenta of colliding bodies before and after their collision, coefficient of kinetic energy restitution and average collision force.

Structurally, the training laboratory equipment consists of a laboratory unit and a control unit (electronic stopwatch).

The training system is performed as a basement with a fixed vertical rod. A plate with balls hanging on current-carrying threads is installed on the rod’s top. On the foundation, in the plane of balls’ deviation, a plate with angular scale is fixed. In the experiment with balls collision an electronic stopwatch with accuracy 0,1 μs is used.

The training system is supplied with technical and methodical documentation for teaching staff.
