The educational laboratory unit is designed to conduct laboratory experiments in physics.
Structurally, the unit consists of a transformer core and a panel containing a thermometer, a voltmeter and switching tumblers of heating and voltage on the transformer’s primary winding. The investigated transformer with a ferromagnetic core consists of two windings (magnetizing and measuring). The temperature of the core is measured by means of an accurate digital thermal sensor located on the core. The signal goes from the thermal sensor to the analog-to-digital converter of the measuring device being registered in degrees Celsius. The accuracy of temperature measurement is ±0,5°C. All the parameters controlled (temperature and secondary winding voltage) are displayed.
