The training laboratory unit provides the familiarization with the methods of measuring the magnetic field density by means of Hall sensor and the study of the magnetic field distribution along the solenoid center line.

The training laboratory unit provides the familiarization with the methods of measuring the magnetic field density by means of Hall sensor and the study of the magnetic field distribution along the solenoid center line.

Structurally, the unit is the case with following equipment installed in it:

  • solenoid with built-in Hall sensor on  a movable rod;
  • monitoring device for measuring Hall sensor output voltage;
  • adjustable current source for smooth adjustment of the solenoid magnetic induction.

The movable rod, which is graduated in millimeters, is designed in such a way that Hall sensor moves strictly along the solenoid center line.

Software and methodical support are supplied with the laboratory equipment: a set of methodical and technical documentation intended for academic staff.
