The training system is designed to measure the current-voltage characteristics (further – CVC) in the straight and reverse current direction, flowing through the junction, and the capacitance-voltage characteristic (dependence of transition capacity on applied voltage) of the p-n transition.

Structurally, the training system is the measurement unit, the front panel features:
  • switch sockets;
  • power polarity direction toggle-switch;
  • voltage reference controller.

The back panel of training system features:

  • measurement unit power supply fuse;
  • cable inlet;
  • power toggle-swith.

The training system is supplied with a set of methodical and technical documentation for teaching staff.

Experiments provided

1. Study of the CVC diode.
2. Measurement of the barrier capacity of p-n transition.
