The training laboratory system is used for familiarization with the theory of ray origin in a thin lens and measuring its focus distance, observation of spherical aberration.

Structurally, the training system consists of aluminium base with following equipment:
  • radiation source;
  • fastening for interchangeable diaphragms;
  • screen;
  • lenses. 

Power supply for radiation source is installed in its case.The grid is the object for image construction, which is installed on the training system’s base and located behind the radiation source. 

The training system is supplied with a set of methodical and technical documentation for teaching staff.

  1. Determination a focal distance of a thin collecting lens.
  2. Determination a focal distance of a thin diffusing lens.
