The training laboratory stand is made in tabletop form and consists of a control unit and a heating unit (heater). The stand is used to experimentally investigate the temperature dependence of electrical conductivity in metals and semiconductors.
As test samples for studying the temperature dependence of electrical resistance, temperature sensors with various temperature coefficients of resistance are used.
The heating temperature is set from the control panel. The operation of the heating elements is regulated automatically. The heating unit is equipped with a forced air cooling system.
The electrical resistance of the samples is measured using a digital multimeter.
The stand comes with:
- Software for real-time display of temperature changes in the test samples and for graphical representation of the resistance vs. temperature dependence.
- A set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
