The stand consists of two parts:

control system;
hydro station.

The front panel of the stand control system is divided into two parts:

upper – electric;
lower – hydraulic.

On the electrical part of the front panel are located:

circuit breaker;
digital displays of measuring instruments;
signal lamps of voltage presence in the stand and turning on the pump of the hydroelectric power station.

Behind the front panel are located:

power supply board;
measurement system boards;
magnetic switch;
transformer.

On the hydraulic part of the front panel there are devices, hydraulic elements, controls. On the desktop are pressure sensors and a manifold. For convenience, the panel shows a schematic hydraulic diagram. A tank and a water electric pump are installed below on the stand frame.

The training system is supplied with a set of methodological and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.

Experiments provided

Measurement of pressure, flow rate, determination of fluid flow conditions.
Plotting of pressure line and hydraulic grade line of pipework with varying profile. Study of Bernoulli equation.
Determination of local hydraulic resistance coefficients (bend, sudden widening, sudden narrowing).
Determination of hydraulic friction coefficient (Darcy coefficient).
