The educational laboratory stand is designed for studying the construction, operating principles, and performance characteristics of a series-excited direct current motor, as well as the influence of various connection and regulation methods on its behavior. The research includes analyzing natural and artificial characteristics under varying power supply conditions, as well as investigating parameter regulation methods to optimize the motor’s operation.

Structurally the stand accommodates:

a body which contains electric equipment, electronic cards, front panel and tabletop of integrated working desk;
an electric machine unit with dc electric motor of series excitation and solenoid actuated brake component.

The stand can be equipped with an electric machine unit based on an electric motor of low (90 W) or large (0.55 kW) power.

The stand is accompanying with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
