The training laboratory stand is dedicated for using it as a training equipment at secondary specialized colleges and higher education establishments to perform laboratory works for discipline “Overhead and underground power lines”.

The present training laboratory equipment is dedicated for getting practical skills in using measuring instruments to determine damage of cable lines.

The stand consists of an experimental block and measuring instruments:

  • a portable cable bridge PKM-105;
  • a portable reflectometer REIS-100.

At the front panel of the experimental unit are placed:

  • sockets for connecting measuring instruments;
  • circuit breaker;
  • switching sockets.

The stand is accompanied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.

Experiments provided

  1. Determining the distance to the place of cable line damage.
  2. Determining the type of cable line damage and the distance to the place of damage.
