The experimental unit is designed for investigation of the thermal process in a double-pipe heat exchanger.

The experimental unit is assembled on the basis of welded metal basement. A welded hollow hermetic double-pipe construction of stainless steel is installed on the basement. The gap between the walls of the pipes is filled with cold running water while hot water circulates in the internal pipe. Water of both circuits comes through fittings for quick connections. These couplings provide quick and safe connection of the unit to the stand’s water circuit with forced circulation. The unit is equipped with sensors for measuring input and output temperatures of both circuits.  Wires from the sensors are collected into a single cable connected to the control and measuring system of the stand.
