The laboratory unit is represented as a base with a vertical rod mounted on which are fixed an optical sensor with height adjustment and an electromagnet.
At the upper end of the rod is installed a triple pulley, on which are wound threads with weights at the end. A cross pendulum is fixed on the pulley axis. on each beam of the cross-pendulum is dressed a disk. In the initial position, one end of the thread is wound on a pulley, and the other end is fixed with an electromagnet. During the experiment, the electromagnet is turned off and the time count starts at the same time. The load starts to move, as a result of which the cross-pendulum spins. After the load passes the optical sensor window, the countdown stops.
To count the time of moving the weights is used a control unit (electronic stopwatch).
The stand is accompanied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
