The training laboratory equipment is dedicated for using it as a training equipment at secondary specialized colleges and higher education establishments to perform laboratory works for such disciplines «Saving of energy» and «Lighting engineering».

The training laboratory equipment is designed for studying such sections as “Energy Saving at Industrial Enterprises”, “Energy Saving at Home”, “Lighting Devices”, “Lighting Networks” of disciplines “Saving of Energy” and “Lighting Engineering”, as well as for students of industry training centers for advanced training of engineering and technical workers.

Structurally, the stand consists of a base with integrated worktable and a laboratory module.

The laboratory module consists of:

  • laboratory control unit;
  • a chamber with light-protective walls.

In the chamber are placed fittings for installation of light sources of various types.

On the panel of the laboratory control unit are installed:

  • pickup responded to motion;
  • photo relay;
  • electrical parameter meter;
  • stand automatic power switch;
  • laboratory autotransformer;
  • switching equipment.

The stand is accompanied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.

  1. Investigation of the characteristics of incandescent lamps.
  2. Investigation of the characteristics of halogen lamp.
  3. Investigation of the characteristics of LED lamps.
  4. Investigation of the characteristics of the linear fluorescent lamp of low pressure with electronic control gear.
  5. Investigation of the characteristics of compact fluorescent lamp of low pressure.
  6. Comparing the energy efficiency of various light sources.
  7. Compensation of reactive power consumption.
  8. Energy saving by using motion sensors.
  9. Energy savings by using photo relay.
  10. Energy savings by using timers.
