NTC-16.35 “Automation of construction materials production”

The training laboratory equipment is designed for performing laboratory classes for discipline “Production automation of construction materials” at secondary specialized colleges and higher education establishments.
The training system allows conducting the investigation of two types of automatic control systems (temperature and pressure) as well as controllers used for these purposes.
The hydraulic subsystem includes:
- hydraulic pump;
- pressure hydraulic valve;
- hydraulic distributor;
- two hydraulic tanks;
- pipeline system with valves.
Hydraulic tank No. 2 is located inside the tank No. 1 and it can be moved vertically. A dynamometer is used to control the weight of the material supplied to tank No. 2. Extreme positions when moving the tank number 2 are fixed by limit switches. To measure the flow and pressure, a high-speed flow meter and a manometer are used.
To study issues related to temperature measurement and regulation, the training system includes a thermal chamber and four types of thermometers. Temperature regulator-meter allows to measure the temperature, as well as regulate the thermal regime in the thermal chamber.
An electronic stopwatch is also installed on the stand.
The hydraulic pump can be controlled in two modes: manual and automatic. When operating in automatic mode, the pump is controlled by limit switches.
LEDs are used to control the operating states of the stand, pump, pressure hydraulic valve and limit switches.
The stand is accompanied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
Experiments provided
- Measuring of pressure, liquids’ flow rate and bulk materials.
Test objects in this laboratory work are pressure and flow rate measuring device. - Temperature measuring.
The objects under study in this work are expansion thermometers (alcohol) of manometric type with a bimetallic sensitive element; single-channel meter-regulator, which includes a temperature sensor (resistance sensor). - Studying the pressure regulators.
The objects under study in this work are an adjustable direct-acting pressure hydraulic valve. - Studying the automatic temperature control system.
The object under research is an automatic temperature control system, which includes a control object (thermal chamber) and a regulator (which is used as a temperature meter-regulator TRM1). - Studying the automatic pressure control system.
The object of research is an automatic pressure control system, which includes a control object and a regulator. The control object includes a hydraulic tank, a hydraulic pump and a piping system with valves. A pressure hydraulic valve is used as a regulator, which operates in the overflow valve mode.
