Basis-bench is made on a universal aluminum basis and contains reusable devices (blocks) for laboratory work. The blocks can be easily removed and installed. The composition of the blocks depends on the list of laboratory experiments performed on the bench.
The basic set of basis-bench includes:
- input block IB02;
- power supply block PSB01;
- power supply block PSB04;
- measuring block MB02;
- speed measurement block SMB02;
- soft start block SSB01;
- relay block RB01;
- frequency converter block FCB01;
- block of interchangeable panels RPB01.
Input block IB02 supplies voltage to the basis; it is composed of a differential breaker, zero protection, short circuit protection.

Measuring block MB02 is intended for measuring current, voltage and power. Measurement accuracy is at least 1%. External display and interface for PC-connection – USB (galvanically isolated). Measurement range is specified by interchangeable panels.
Speed measurement block SMB02. Measurement accuracy is at least 1%. External display and interface for PC-connection – USB (galvanically isolated).
Soft start block SSB01 is intended for assembling asynchronous motor starting circuit. The bench uses a soft starter Schneider Electric series Altistart.
Relay block RB01 is intended for assembling asynchronous motor direct starting circuit, reversal control circuit, two-speed asynchronous motor control circuit. Relay RTZE is used in relay contact circuits as a protecting device.
Frequency converter block FCB01 is intended for assembling asynchronous motor control circuit.
Block of interchangeable panels RPB01 is intended for installing interchangeable panels and connecting them to power sources, measuring instruments, load, and control devices.
Unit of asynchronous electric motor is implemented on a remote frame, contains an asynchronous motor, a flywheel, a frequency sensor and a cable for connecting the basis-bench.
Interchangeable panels have standard size of A4. On the front surface of the panel mnemonic diagrams are depicted. Switching jacks and controls used for laboratory work are installed on the mnemonic diagrams. The lower part of a interchangeable panel is designed as a printed circuit board with connectors for connection to the basis-bench and is designed for switching all the necessary elements of the bench when performing laboratory work.
Circuits are assembled using special cables by connecting the control points on interchangeable panels with the corresponding points on the blocks used (relay block RB01, soft start block SSB01, frequency converter block FCB01).
Advanced users are offered to mount the equipment on RB01, SSB01, FCB01, and then to assemble the studied circuits on interchangeable panels.
The bench can be equipped with interchangeable blocks and panels for the installation and commissioning of DC electric drives.
The training system is supplied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
