NTC-03.07.1 “GSM Cellular Networks and GPS Satellite Navigation Systems”
The educational laboratory stand is intended for conducting laboratory work on studying the operation of GSM/GPS modems using a quad-band GSM/GPRS/GNSS/Quectel MC90 module, exploring the UART interface and basic AT commands, and understanding the fundamentals of GSM networks—including working with SIM cards, making calls, sending SMS, and USSD. It also covers proprietary commands, power management modes, and energy control of devices. Additionally, it examines the principles of global positioning systems (GNSS), the features of “cold start” GPS, and A-GPS technology.
