Structurally, each of the modules consists of a housing with installed: electrical equipment, microprocessor measuring system, front panel.
Module 1 is intended for using it as training equipment during laboratory and practical classes for studying relay protection devices and automation of power supply systems.
Module 1 housing are placed:
- power transformer ОSМ-0,1;
- stopwatch board with a measurement accuracy of 0.01s for measuring the response time of devices of relay protection circuits;
- block of load resistors;
- module of microprocessor measuring system providing multi-channel measurements with output of measured current and voltage values to digital indicators.
The front panel of module 1 is conditionally divided into two parts: circuit and hardware.
The circuit part of the front panel shows the electrical circuits of the objects under study. All circuits drawn on the panel are divided into groups according to the subject of the work being done. At the panel are installed switching jacks, switching equipment, as well as controls, allowing to change the parameters of the elements under study during laboratory work.
The hardware part of the stand front panel accommodates relay protection units and automatic equipment, network automatic switch, digital indicators of microprocessor system of measurement.
Module 2 is intended for using it as educational equipment during laboratory and practical classes to study the quality of electrical energy at power supply systems.
Module 2 housing contains:
- power transformer ОSМ-0,1;
- a block of chokes;
- module of microprocessor measuring system providing multi-channel measurements.
The schematic part of Module 2 shows the general electrical circuits of the electrical distribution network with the possibility of using single-sided or two-sided power supply.
The set of measured parameters is sufficient for an effective studying relay protection and automation circuits in power supply systems without connecting the stand to a computer.
The stand is accompanied with:
- a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff;
- software.
