The educational laboratory stand is designed for the study and practical mastering of measurement methods and tools used in the investigation of thermodynamic and heat exchange processes in gas flows. It also facilitates the analysis of air characteristics and behavior under various conditions, such as determining velocity fields of swirling flows, airflow in converging nozzles, Laval nozzles, and air throttling processes for studying its dynamic properties.

The stand is implemented as a universal basic modular system with an integrated measuring system, a control module and a work surface for installing the units under study.

Structurally, the stand consists of three parts:

basis-stand;
compressor;
a set of interchangeable devices.

The training system is accompanied with

a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff;
software with opportunity to display measured values at computer screen in real time and to automate the process of data logging. For each laboratory experiment, a special indication profile has been developed that outputs only the values used in the experiment. The software features the ability to copy or save the received data to a file for further value dependency graphs plotting in Microsoft Office Word or Microsoft Office Excel.
