The laboratory system is designed for using as educational equipment at universities and secondary educational institutions for laboratory and practical courses.

The stand allows to study the ways of industrial noise protection. The stand provides the possibility of experimental investigation of soundproofing and sound absorbing properties of various materials, noise measurement instrumentations and reduction of its impact.

Constructively the stand consists of test chamber of floor implementation. Acoustic radiator (noise radiator) with integral power amplifier 2×20 W and noise measurement device (measuring microphone) are installed inside the chamber. Measuring microphone is connected to PC through audio interface.

The chamber is equipped inside with facilities for acoustic barriers that divide chamber space into two parts, also the chamber has inner removable cover. Chamber walls are trimmed with soundproofing materials from all sides.

The installed equipment provides the possibility to measure noise level in the room.

The laboratory stand is accompanied with:

a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff;
software.
