- a dust chamber;
- a set of equipment for determining air dustiness by mass method.
The dust chamber has transparent sides. To get inside there’s an aperture in the front side, which is closed with a sliding panel. Fans unit is located inside the chamber and used to mix particles of dust with the air. The unit itself is one or two fans mounted on a special holder.
Air sampling is carried out with the help of a low flow aspirator. Analytic filters are located in open-type holder inside the chamber. The aspirator tube is passed through the intake opening in the end of the chamber. Check weighing of the analytical filters is performed on electronic scales with a readability of 1 mg. Aspirator can also be used to determine the air dustiness in a room (auditorium).
The stand is accompanied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
