NTC-10.65 “Quality of electric energy in power supply systems”

Br0.00

The educational laboratory stand allows for the investigation of a power transmission line model loaded with active-inductive loads, with the ability to connect compensating capacitors. As part of the research, measurements of electrical energy quality indicators are performed on the models, and the impact of voltage deviations on the consumed load power is analyzed. Methods of voltage regulation are studied, including both counter and transverse regulation, as well as reactive power compensation using capacitor banks—by transverse and longitudinal schemes. Additionally, the level of higher harmonics of current generated by thyristor voltage regulators in AC power supply schemes is examined. These studies also consider methods of compensating higher harmonics using filter-compensating devices to improve power quality.
